About Continuing Education Credits

Guardianship Credits

NGA’s Colloquium is approved for guardianship continuing education credits by the Center for Guardianship Certification, California Fiduciary Bureau, and Texas Guardianship Certification. A generic Certificate of Attendance will be provided in your packet for this use. NGA will also be applying to CE Broker (Florida Public Guardian Office), and Professional Guardian Certificate on Board of Washington State. Certificate fees apply to receive Guardianship CEU’s for Florida and Washington.

The following areas are approved for 6.0 Conference Credits:

  • CGC – Center for Guardianship Certification

  • California

  • Washington with 1.0 CEU’s Ethics

If your state is not listed on this list but you wish to receive Continuing Education Credits, you may purchase a generic Certificate of Attendance (Order forms are located at the Registration Desk), keep all of the materials given to you at the conference and contact your State Offices about approval.

If you have any questions regarding Continuing Education please wait until after the conference and contact Kelly Dolan at 877-326-5992 or education@guardianship.org

Verified Certificate

For those who wish to pursue continuing education credits that were not pre-approved, a signed certificate to officially verify attendance will also be available for purchase. Individuals who purchase this document will use it on their own to follow their state’s procedures for CEUs.

Obtaining Credits

This Colloquium program has the potential for a total of 6.25 credit hours. Because each accrediting body must approve the program prior to assigning credits, the specific number of credits accepted by each state will not be confirmed until the Colloquium.

Certificate of Attendance

Fees for a Certificate of Attendance vary and are based in part on the costs NGA incurs to have a course accredited. Fees may be paid in advance by completing the Certificate Order Form included with this brochure or found on the website. To issue a Certificate, NGA must also receive your attendance sign-in sheets, provided at the Colloquium. All certificates will be sent via email or U.S. mail following the Colloquium.

Use the form provided in the Registration Brochure or go online to order a Certificate of Attendance before the Colloquium.
